Hopwood Ladies' holidays and short breaks are an enormous success due to the inclusion or support of their families or partners.  It was decided from day one that if a trip couldn't take place due to family then the family would come along.  We have organised family day trips driving to the seaside where we have enjoyed time with the kids before leaving our partners with the keys to drive home, unloaded our bikes and cycled home.  We have cycled to campsites/YHAs or B&Bs and been greeted by the family/partners who have driven there and we have even packed our bike panniers at home and set off with kids in tow on tandems or on their own bikes for amazing adventures that many would never have thought possible.  We are even occasionally fortunate enough to go off ‘just girls together', a real chance to find out who was paying attention at cycle mechanics classes.
